HUB Coordinator - Florida
About The Position
Applus IDIADA is a global partner to the automotive industry with over 30 years’ experience supporting its clients in product development activities by providing design, engineering, testing and homologation services. The HUB Coordinator will oversee all hub operations at assigned facility locations, ensuring facilities meet customer standards for protection protocols and security. This role involves managing storage infrastructure for DDC fleet vehicles and accommodating APR vehicle needs. The coordinator will also oversee vehicle reception, set up, maintenance schedules, and system updates, while monitoring vehicle uptime. Route planning and optimization to maximize data collection effectiveness, along with team support including shift assignments, performance monitoring, training, and conflict resolution, are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the role requires orchestrating and monitoring data handling operations in accordance with client specifications and managing the collection and secure transportation of recorded data storage media.
Requirements
- Experience with Samsara tool for monitoring personnel performance
- Ability to provide regular reporting to Project Managers on operational status
- Skill in identifying operational issues and working proactively to resolve them
- Capability to report any discrepancies in operations or deviations from plan
- Proficiency in compiling daily and weekly performance metrics
- Ability to interface with IDIADA senior management and client stakeholders as needed
Responsibilities
- Oversee all hub operations at assigned facility locations
- Ensure that hub facilities meet the standards agreed with the customer (protection protocols and security)
- Manage storage infrastructure for DDC fleet vehicles and accommodate APR vehicle needs
- Oversee vehicle reception at designated hub facilities and coordinate vehicle set up upon receipt.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and minor inspection checks
- Oversee implementation of required vehicle system updates and software as per customer requests.
- Monitor vehicle uptime and address maintenance needs promptly
- Plan routes to maximize data collection effectiveness under varying conditions (time frames, directions, weather)
- Continuously optimize routes based on performance data and collection targets
- Support completion of Dursuite
- Completion of driver’s hours control sheet
- Completion of driving sheets
- Assign daily shifts and support dispatch operations (multiple shifts per day, 7 days/week)
- Monitor personnel performance and conduct evaluations (Samsara tool)
- Support execution of training and onboarding for new team members
- Ensure all assigned personnel meet technical and professional qualifications
- Handle conflict resolution and maintain positive team morale
- Orchestrate and monitor data handling operations in accordance with client specifications
- Manage collection and secure transportation of recorded data storage media
- Monitor daily data collection progress against monthly targets
- Provide regular reporting to Project Managers on operational status
- Identify operational issues and work proactively to resolve them
- Report any discrepancies in operations or deviations from plan
- Compile daily and weekly performance metrics
- Interface with IDIADA senior management and client stakeholders as needed
