About The Position

The HTM Imaging Specialist supports the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of diagnostic imaging equipment across Munson Healthcare. This role requires a strong foundation in biomedical/imaging equipment service, electronics, imaging service, military or factory technical training, OEM training, or related hands-on technical service work. The position supports equipment performance, patient and staff safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable clinical operations while developing additional expertise across imaging modalities. Works closely with Radiology, clinical teams, HTM colleagues, OEMs, and third-party service providers to resolve equipment issues, reduce downtime, document service activity, and support safe, effective patient care.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in biomedical technology or electronics technology OR military or factory trained in radiology equipment service.
2 years experience in biomedical equipment repair, imaging service, electronics repair, field service, or related hands-on technical service work.
OEM Training, Independent Imaging Training, or Modality-Specific Imaging Service Training - Required or must be obtained within one (1) year of hire.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical systems.
Demonstrated ability to use common electrical test equipment.
Demonstrated ability to follow technical documentation.
Demonstrated ability to document work accurately in a CMMS.

Nice To Haves

Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) preferred
Experience servicing imaging equipment such as general radiology/fluoroscopy, portable units, C-arms, digital X-ray detectors, mammography, CT, MRI, DSA, nuclear medicine, cardiac catheterization labs, ultrasound, or imaging systems networking preferred.
