About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining records of crude trucks entering plants, submitting crude totals for yield sheet purposes, and maintaining a set-up sheet for asphalt orders. The attendant will also dispatch product to customers and handle customer complaints when the Logistics Coordinator is unavailable. Key duties include ensuring driver information is entered into the loading system, issuing loading cards, editing tank loading information, manually calculating net and gross gallons, entering State Project load information, preventing product cross-contamination, notifying the lab of trucks requiring sampling, submitting daily pipeline reports, maintaining a daily rain gauge log, contacting personnel in case of refinery emergencies, maintaining the staging area for emergency vehicles, and assisting with outside telephone calls.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Requires two or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to write legibly and perform mathematical calculations accurately and rapidly.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Some post-secondary education is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain records of all crude trucks entering plants and submit crude totals from each field to office personnel for yield sheet purposes.
  • Maintain a set-up sheet for all asphalt orders for Sandersville, Lumberton, and Vicksburg.
  • Dispatch product out of the refinery to customers when the Logistics Coordinator is not available.
  • Handle customer complaints when the Logistics Coordinator is not available.
  • Assure driver information is entered into the loading system, and loading cards are issued.
  • Edit tank loading information in the automated system as necessary.
  • Manually figure net and gross gallons of all products in the event the loading system isn’t working and fill out the paperwork accordingly.
  • Manually enter information on State Project loads that can’t be programmed into the loading system database.
  • Ensure that cross contamination of product does not occur in tanker trailers.
  • Notify lab of trucks entering the plant that require sampling.
  • Submit a daily pipeline report consisting of Plains and Hunt pipeline information, Tank 25001 receipts and deliveries, LSR, DFS and Naphtha shipments.
  • Maintain a daily rain gauge log and notify proper personnel if substantial rainfall occurs.
  • Contact personnel in the event of an emergency at the refinery and maintain records accordingly.
  • Maintain staging area for emergency vehicles.
  • Assist with answering outside telephone calls.
