HSE Supervisor

D2B GroupsMurfreesboro, TN
Onsite

About The Position

Our client is a global manufacturer supplying the automotive industry, with production operations across North America. Their Middle Tennessee plant is a well-established, ISO-certified operation, and they are hiring a Health, Safety & Environmental Supervisor to own the safety and environmental function on site. This is not a compliance-paperwork role. You will report directly to the Plant Manager, supervise a team of HSE Representatives, and carry real authority over how the plant operates — from reviewing new equipment and layout changes before they hit the floor, to driving corrective action after an incident, to owning the environmental management system and the audits that keep it certified. If you have been an EHS specialist waiting for a seat where your recommendations become decisions, this is that seat.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Health or Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field from an accredited four-year institution
  • Broad working knowledge of federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental law and regulation
  • Strong leadership and decision-making ability, including the willingness to make difficult calls and set the example on the floor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations
  • Ability to manage both short-term and long-term projects through to completion

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of related HSE experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
