Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, health and safety, engineering, or related field, or a minimum of four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum three years of experience in a health and safety role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of United States regulations, including Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission
- Experience managing hazardous waste and supporting environmental, health, and safety compliance activities
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a cGMP manufacturing environment
- Prior experience or training in radiation safety
Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance across site operations
- Identify and assess workplace risks, recommending effective control measures in collaboration with the HSE team
- Manage and analyze environmental, health, and safety data, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and communication of key metrics
- Lead or support incident investigations, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively
- Partner cross-functionally to drive awareness, alignment, and continuous improvement on health, safety, and environmental priorities
