About The Position

The HSE Representative Offshore is responsible for overseeing all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities at offshore job sites to ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations. This role involves conducting site visits and audits, facilitating crew changes, managing injury/illness cases, and supporting overall HSE initiatives. The position requires working in offshore environments under varying conditions, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may involve extended shifts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • 1+ years Industrial Safety experience with a focus in Heavy Fabrication and Construction
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must have a valid TWIC
  • Must complete and maintain offshore safety training certifcations, inlcuding: Water survival, T-Huet, and any other additional cient-required training
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills
  • For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
  • For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in a Safety field preferred
  • Safety certification such as COSS is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine site visits and HSE audits to monitor and enforce compliance
  • Facilitate crew changes, ensuring compliance with HSE protocols during transitions
  • Manage case management for work-related injuries and incidents, including documentation and follow-up
  • Review and update HSE policies and procedures as needed
  • Lead and document safety meetings and toolbox talks
  • Perform environmental compliance activities such as sampling, reporting, and coordinating with consultants
  • Evaluate site-specific HSE requirements and communicate findings to management
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and inspections of emergency response equipment
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety rules, policies, and best practices
  • Maintain accurate HSE records and reports for internal and client requirements
  • Support HSE training and awareness programs across offshore sites
  • Demonstrates strong adherence to Company policies and procedures, included but not limited to Safety, and Company values
  • Work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by project schedules
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
