About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administers the Drug & Alcohol (D&A) program. Provides guidance and generates authorization for D&A testing, post-accident, random, reasonable suspicion, etc. Perform or direct internal and external Drug & Alcohol (D&A) audits. Ensure clinics are up to date and in compliance with DOT regulations (Ensure compliance document retention). Generate and distribute monthly/quarterly drug & alcohol statistical data for ISN, DISA, NCMS, & TEAM. Maintain employee roster and supervisor training roster in DISA, NCMS & TEAM Manage and communicate client information systems as required, such as ISNetworld and PEC, while ensuring compliance with all customer requirements. Collection, maintenance, and timely reporting of all HS&E data and statistics (internal and external as needed or planned). Serve as Injury Coordinator for all case management related to injured employees, including reporting, records collection, maintenance, and routine updates, including facilitation of support groups such as XstremeMD. Act as primary point of contact for the injured employee. Liaison between HR, Operations, Injured employee’s treating physical, Risk, and Insurance Group Participate in Corporate HSE Audits. Ensure accurate and timely completion of customer required documentation, including but not limited to safety-related requests, vendor documents, and other general information. Service as a KPA Flex Administrator related to data, reports, and resources (acknowledgments) Perform other duties and special projects as assigned but not limited to the HS&E Corporate Team. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Competent in managing and reporting HSE information from multiple HSE programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management and employees. Ensures confidentiality of all company information. Ability to learn company and industry specific applications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle diverse and deadline driven projects with minimum supervision. Flexible and able to adjust to multiple demands or shifting priorities. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s Degree of Science preferably in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment or equivalent field experience. Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in safety related position. Must have two (2) years of experience overseeing record retention compliance. Ability to travel 20% of the time to facilities across North America. Including overnight and weekend stays if required. Ability to be reachable/on call 24/7. Preferred Certifications: OSHA 30, DER Certification, Reasonable Suspicion Certification, NATMI Certification, ASQ Auditing for Improvement Certification, H2S Certification, PEC Certification, First Aid & CPR Certification. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to exert force to occasionally lift or move objects of up to 10 pounds Must have good manual dexterity to perform daily tasks and operate computers or other standard office equipment. Must be able to occasionally bend, lift, kneel, sit or stand for long periods of time.
