About The Position

This role provides technical support, direction, and oversight for environmental, health, and safety issues affecting Jacam Catalyst LLC and its employees. The position involves staying informed of current and changing regulations from workplace-regulation agencies, collecting data, and creating reports for OSHA and management. The HSE Regional Manager will also help create policy, procedures, and training, and provide program oversight to ensure employees and managers make sound safety decisions in compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school Graduate or GED required.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in implementing OSHA and other legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to dedicate 40% of working hours to travel to company facilities.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Have basic computer skills. Efficiently navigate a web browser, follow online instructions, type, and use a mouse.
  • Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stay current on federal, state and local OSHA-type policies throughout Jacam Catalyst LLC operational area.
  • Audit, inspect, and provide inspection tools to management for their OSHA program.
  • Conduct group safety audits at the warehouse locations; document findings and assist with implementing recommendations.
  • Observe workers and provide immediate feedback to enhance safety compliance.
  • Identify areas of exceptional performance and areas of needed improvement in safety compliance.
  • Provide department-specific reports to management and outside agencies.
  • Implement training programs that foster a culture of safety consciousness, in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Orchestrate training and advise regional personnel and management of new policies and procedures.
  • Express ideas and thoughts verbally and in writing. Listen to the thoughts and ideas of others.
  • Be an example of workplace standards and policy compliance for others.
