The Project HSE Manager is an integral member of the project team, dedicated to the health and well-being of others. They serve as a safety resource and facilitate Sundt HS&E programs. This role has progression steps (I, II, and Sr.) based on skill and experience. Step II individuals can manage small to medium-sized projects independently.

Requirements

At least one year of full-time project safety experience.
Good written and verbal communication (proper grammar, spelling, etc.).
High level of integrity for reporting incidents and events, as well as upholding company policy, personal activities, etc.
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Able to use various computer software and apps proficiently.

Nice To Haves

STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP certifications and licenses (preferred, but not required).
Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Bi-lingual (preferred).

Responsibilities

Conducts frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
Conducts site-specific safety orientations.
Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Environmental Management Plan.
Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Safety Management Plan.
Facilitates the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
Manages emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims.
Reviews and files project safety documentation.
