About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Coordinator to support and promote a strong safety culture across our oil and gas operations. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal and client health, safety, and environmental policies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in training, audits, incident response, and continuous improvement of HSE systems. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Clean driving record a must.

Requirements

5+ years of HSE experience in the oil and gas industry.
Working knowledge of OSHA, TXRRC, TCEQ, EPA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
Strong communication and training skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems.
Ability to travel to field locations and work in both office and operational environments.
Safety coverage of assets in Midland, Pecos, Orla, and Carlsbad areas.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Clean driving record a must.

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
Safety certifications such as CSHO, Veriforce, H2S, First Aid/CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor the company's HSE programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote safe working conditions.
Conduct safety orientations, training sessions, and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
Perform routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses, including root cause analysis and follow-up.
Maintain and update HSE documentation including safety data sheets, permits, incident logs, and training records.
Support the development of emergency response plans and lead regular drills.
Coordinate with field and office staff to ensure consistent safety practices across all locations.
Liaise with regulatory agencies and third-party auditors as required.
Track and report HSE performance metrics and support continuous improvement efforts.
