About The Position

The HSE Coordinator is expected to support coiled tubing operations by sustaining the health, safety, environmental processes and systems as well as to provide advisory support to the district assigned within the role of health, safety, and the environment. Essentially, the HSE Coordinator is a subject matter expert in HSE as it pertains to governmental compliance (local, state and government) and customer’s expectations at the jobsite as Go Coil 2 executes services for the customer. These individuals are able to arrive at sound conclusions and make rational decisions regarding occupational safety, health, and environmental concerns. Incumbents in this position can positively engage the customer or their representatives interact and productively in addition to governmental agencies such as OSHA and the EPA to anticipate and diffuse potential conflict.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of oil and gas safety requirements to maintain compliance for diverse customer specifications and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to lead small HSE projects to develop and maintain the safety culture of a district.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in collaborating with colleagues and customers to create a team working environment.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory or customer HSE objectives to simplistic instructions for field personnel to execute.
  • Understands Go Coil 2 safety systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Understands Safety regulations as they apply to First Aid, H2S, Well Control, and SDS requirements.
  • Proficient in Go Coil 2 HSE protocols, processes, and documentation.
  • Ability to use a computer and proficient in the Microsoft Software Suite such as Word, Excel, PDF, Teams, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Properly maintain compliance platforms such as ISN or Veriforce with satisfactory ratings to not impede jobsite execution.
  • Promote a positive safety culture that enables Go Coil 2 workers to actively participate in the HSE programs in a meaningful way.
  • Maintain the district’s safety data in a readily available manner.
  • Perform shop and field audits in a positive manner that promotes safety participation from field operations personnel.
  • Review Observation, Stop Work Intervention or Hazard ID reports to diagnose and remediate current conditions that would increase the safe working environment of the district’s employees.
  • Meet with customers to demonstrate Go Coil 2’s adherence to various customer safety programs.
  • Coach and mentor the district’s personnel in the health, safety, and environmental topics that improve personnel capability in those areas.
  • Collect and organize facts/data after an incident to communicate the information to complete an incident report.
