About The Position

The HSE Coordinator will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental programs and policies for Primoris Energy Services projects in Pearland, TX. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards, promoting a safe and environmentally responsible work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within the energy, construction, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local HSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct effective safety training and engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of company HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare and deliver HSE training sessions for employees and subcontractors on various safety topics, including hazard communication, confined space entry, fall protection, and emergency preparedness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE records, including training logs, inspection reports, incident reports, and permits.
  • Assist in the development and review of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and other risk assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with project management and field personnel to integrate HSE considerations into all project phases.
  • Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, air quality, and water discharge.
  • Stay informed of new and revised HSE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Support the emergency response planning and execution for various incidents.
