About The Position

Manage an attractive, warm, and challenging learning environment for Head Start children. Incorporate appropriate early intervention, learning, and care activities that meet the needs of the group and individual children and families. Effectively implement the MET Head Start education curriculum. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to succeed and is patient, gentle, loving, kind, creative, resourceful, and able to resolve conflicts.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to cope with stress.
• Able to engage in strenuous physical activity and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Head Start experience preferred.
