About The Position

Organize, supervise, and administer all phases of the high school baseball program. This includes planning and conducting practices, workouts, and game preparation, with a focus on developing student-athletes both athletically and academically. The role also emphasizes promoting sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and character development among players. The coach will supervise assistant coaches, ensure compliance with all district, conference, and MSHSAA rules, and monitor student-athlete academic progress and eligibility. Effective communication with players, parents, administration, staff, and community members is essential. Responsibilities also include coordinating scheduling, transportation, equipment, uniforms, and facility usage with the athletic department, maintaining equipment inventory, and attending required meetings and professional development. The position involves assisting with offseason development, camps, youth programs, and program promotion, while always ensuring the safety and well-being of student-athletes and representing the school and athletic department professionally.
