About The Position
The Macon R-1 School District is seeking dedicated Assistant Track Coaches to join our High School track program. Candidates must hold, or be able to obtain, at minimum, a valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate. We are looking for a dedicated coach who will help develop student-athletes both academically and personally, assist with practices and competitions, build a positive, competitive team culture, work collaboratively with the head coach and coaching staff, and promote sportsmanship, discipline, and academic success.
Requirements
- Must hold, or be able to obtain, at minimum, a valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate
- Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students
