About The Position

The HRIS Solutions Developer is responsible for the production of quality code, effective team participation, and contributions to the continuous improvement of the HRIS team. This role involves utilizing best practices and architectural guidelines to build durable, maintainable software that meets business purposes. The developer will be involved in developing, programming, and coding software solutions and/or process improvements across a wide range of technologies, including Workday configuration, integrations, and reporting, as well as C#, SQL, REACT, and .NET Development knowledge. Additionally, the role requires PowerShell scripting, Power Platform development (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), Web Services development and consumption, and Azure services (Azure AD, App Services, Function Apps, Key Vault). Proficiency in database development and SQL is essential, along with knowledge of Networking, HTTP, and network security (DNS, certificates, SSO, OAuth). The developer will perform data reporting, manipulation, and analysis using Power BI tools, queries, or other reporting solutions. This position helps deliver systems in their entirety, from front-end development to infrastructure setup, including database, network, and security. The role also involves developing proof-of-concepts and prototypes of user-friendly interfaces for custom applications, and designing, testing, and developing scalable, highly available, low-latency applications for high-demand systems. Collaboration with the HRIS team for integrations, upgrades, modifications, and enhancements, as well as participation in issue tracking and resolution for all HRIS systems, are key aspects of the job. The developer will research new techniques in system development and stay updated on current trends and strategies in HRIS-related technology fields. Delivering excellent customer service with urgency and ownership, and aiding team members to accomplish team objectives are also expected. Proven behavioral skills, including being a team player, working independently, sound thinking and judgment, achieving results, relating to people, managing work effectively, and leading by example, are important.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0- or 4-years relevant work experience in HRIS systems
  • Knowledge with the following technologies: Workday, Visual Studio, Source Control, Azure DevOps, React, .NET, C#, SQL, PowerShell, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Azure, Database, Networking, HTTP, and network security (DNS, certificates, SSO, OAuth)
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Excellent communication, problem solving & customer service skills
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively and maintain a positive attitude

Responsibilities
