Position Summary Working with the Director of Total Rewards and People Operations, The HRIS Manager leads the strategy, configuration, and optimization of our HR technology ecosystem with a primary focus on Dayforce. This role serves as the enterprise HRIS subject matter expert and liaison to HR, Payroll, Finance, IS, and other stakeholders, ensuring data integrity, operational excellence, and an exceptional end user experience. The HRIS Manager oversees system governance, integrations, security, roadmap execution, and a team of analysts. Total Rewards Package CompensationThe target salary is based on internal averages. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or Computer Science required
  • 4-6 years in HRIS/HR Technology with increasing responsibility; 2+ years in a lead or manager role preferred
  • 4-6 years successful experience in the implementation of HR Systems integrations with upstream and downstream applications, including third parties, contract administration, and change controls required required
  • 1-3 years proven experience with HR data governance, auditing, testing, and compliance requirements. Strong understanding of HR/Payroll/Benefits business processes and downstream impacts required
  • 1-3 years experience managing integrations (APIs, flat files, SFTP) and role-based security required
  • 1-3 years experience in managing complex and inter-related contractual arrangements linked to internal and / externally delivered services required
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets skills; proficiency with HR reporting and analytics required
  • Proven track record of effective systems project and change management for complex solutions required
  • Proven track record of systems and vendor management to deliver organizational commitments required
  • Knowledgeable of Human Resources administration and programs, including benefits and payroll required
  • Strong customer focus, prioritizing short and long term solutions to meet customer needs required
  • Effective communications with a wide variety of stakeholders, internal colleagues, customers of department services, and external parties on a wide range of issues, including complicated matters. Always ensure complex matters are communicated required

Responsibilities

  • System Configuration and Ownership: • Lead technical configuration of pay policies, benefits, workflows, time & attendance, core HR processes, and Talent Acquisition systems. • Configure and support Talent Acquisition tools including iCIMS (applicant tracking) and JDXpert (job description management), ensuring data accuracy, alignment with HR processes, and seamless integrations with Dayforce. • Own the Dayforce relationship, roadmap, and case management—including prioritization, escalation, vendor SLAs, and release planning. • Recommend and implement system enhancements that improve efficiency, accuracy, and the end user experience. 25%
  • Stakeholder Partnership: o Serve as the primary liaison between HRIS and internal stakeholders (HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Compliance, Operations). o Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and standardized processes. o Support cross functional teams with HR data, analytics, and systems expertise.
  • Data Integrity & Compliance Audits o Establish and maintain data governance, quality controls, and validation routines. o Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with company policy and applicable regulations (e.g., wage/hour, benefits eligibility, ACA, EEO, SOC controls). o Manage documentation for configurations, integrations, SOPs, change logs, and end user guides.
  • Security and Integrations o Maintain HRIS security model, roles, and access controls in line with least privilege principles. o Oversee data integrations and data flows (HR → Payroll, Finance, Benefits, ATS, LMS, IS/IdP, and other enterprise systems). o Partner with IS on SSO, provisioning/deprovisioning, and incident response.
  • Team Leadership o Lead, coach, and develop a team of HRIS Analysts; set goals, prioritize backlog, and establish standards for service, documentation, and delivery. o Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Is responsible for the systems operating budget and the correct administration of compensation decisions for the team. Must responsibly allocate operating expenses to the allocated budgets.
  • Responsible for the systems administration and customer support around HR/PY cycles: payroll, merit, incentives, performance reviews, goals, others. Works with Centers of Excellence for process and/or systems improvements to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Contributes to policy development, review, and implementation as and where required. Translates policies into operational processes incorporating best practices to assure their effective implementation. Responsible for the effective operation of HR services in alignment with policies. Maintains operational controls and ensures compliance with applicable company policies and procedures and current laws and regulations governing employment. Supports financial and operational audits and implements corrective measures required to maintain adequate controls.
