The HRIS Manager will be based out of the U.S. headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, but will work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. This position does not require travel and does not have direct reports. The manager will hold both management and technical responsibilities for all global interfaces, ensuring data flow between Workday and various local and corporate systems such as payroll, Time & Attendance, Benefit Carriers, RSP, ERP, Travel, Active Directory, and HFM. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining technical programs for data exchange, collaborating with IT, local HR, and external vendors, and leading the implementation of new HR-related system solutions. The role also involves driving projects in areas like Artificial Intelligence to enhance HR efficiency, designing and maintaining global HR system interfaces, ensuring data accuracy and security, and serving as a technical Subject Matter Expert during M&A, system migrations, and global rollouts. The HRIS Manager will monitor and troubleshoot interface issues, implement best practices, maintain comprehensive documentation, and provide training and support to HRIS analysts and business users. Additionally, the role involves standardizing payroll interfaces, managing overall interface usage, assisting with technical reporting, responding to audit requests, and staying current with HRIS and payroll system market trends. The manager will also oversee Workday system upgrade testing twice a year and provide regular project updates to management.
