What You’ll Do As the HRIS Lead, you will serve as the subject matter expert and strategic owner of HR systems, with primary responsibility for Workday: Provide strategic oversight and ongoing optimization of Workday HCM, including advanced compensation, payroll, time tracking, benefits, and integrations Act as the primary HRIS liaison between HR, IT, Finance, and leadership Lead system enhancements, implementations, upgrades, and new module rollouts Design, improve, and document HR business processes, workflows, and governance standards Ensure system data integrity, security administration, and compliance through audits and controls Develop workforce analytics, reporting, and dashboards that support business decision-making Manage projects related to HR technology, including vendor coordination and testing Support a non-technology-heavy workforce environment, translating complex systems into practical solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 7–10+ years of experience in HR technology or HRIS roles
  • Deep expertise in Workday, including at least 3+ years as an HRIS Specialist or Lead
  • Prior involvement in a Workday implementation strongly preferred
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and improve systems end to end
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner across departments

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or operationally focused workforces
  • Background in business analysis or process reengineering

Responsibilities
