About The Position

The HRIS Specialist is responsible for advancing the organization’s workforce data strategy by managing Workday transactions and ensuring data integrity. This role ensures accurate and compliant employee changes align with business objectives. The HRIS Specialist acts as a bridge between HR operations and the HRIS configuration team, testing system enhancements, ensuring process alignment, and maintaining standard operating procedures that support efficiency, scalability, and business impact.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of HR lifecycle processes and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to operate efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in Workday HR highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguards the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of worker data in Workday by reviewing and approving all worker change transactions.
  • Maintains the organizations’ locations, supervisory organizations, and timekeepers, ensuring accurate setup and assignment of critical workforce components.
  • Processes mass change EIBs to integrate new hires and organizational changes efficiently.
  • Maintains position changes to ensure changes align with organizational needs.
  • Maintains organizational job framework.
  • Responds to HRIS help desk tickets and provides support to the HR team and employees.
  • Collaborates with HRIS configuration team to test system updates, new features and enhancements, ensuring changes meet business needs and maintain system integrity.
  • Identifies and implements system and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Writes, maintains, and optimizes reports to support workforce decision-making.
  • Proactively monitors and audits data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participates in development of training and documentation for end users.
  • Assists with integration and data flow between the HRIS and other business systems.
  • Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.
