About The Position

This position will work with the Manager of HRIS to improve HR data quality within HR data systems, as well as be responsible for documenting procedures and maintenance protocols relating to data collection and audit. This position will serve as the Academic subject matter expert. This position will also be responsible for compliance reporting and assisting in Workday testing efforts as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data quality and analysis within the Workday HCM module. Duties to include routine audits of data through reports, work with internal and external stakeholders to reconcile data inaccuracies, improve overall data integrity, and maintain data protocols. Independently manage assigned compliance and regulatory reporting to include report creation or modification, auditing, data validation, data remediation, and documentation.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the Academic Workday module. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: proficiency in the academic module and academic policies, auditing, upholding data integrity, testing, system implementations and configuration changes, business process mapping, participation in user groups, stay abreast of functionality, research system efficiencies and work with ITS to develop and maintain reports. Collaborate with the Office of Academic Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness to ensure consistent practice of academic policy as captured within HR data. Develop and maintain internal standard operating procedures, system documentation, processes and procedures, write and maintain scenarios, assist users with troubleshooting, and identify reporting or data needs. Development and maintenance of baseline user training, and the communication of any applicable updates, to include regularly present in monthly HR Analyst meetings, write and maintain job aids, conduct trainings or webinars, collaborate with Training & Org Dev to create videos, participate in user groups, request feedback, etc.
  • Assist HRIS Director and HRIS Manager with HRIS projects, including business process overhauls, data clean ups, and process efficiencies while adhering to strict data security measures. Provide support on projects may include meeting scheduling, detailed documentation throughout the project, testing assistance, report validation, data verification, change management, etc. Assist with other Workday HCM modules and HR software initiatives by supplementing teams and providing support during high volume testing efforts.
  • Perform the review and approval of HRIS related business processes in Workday, including academic and educational tasks, to ensure the timely completion with accurate data entry. Responsible for the development, preparation and presentation of HRIS training and resources for internal and external users.
  • Assist HRIS Manager with internal data requests or public records requests to include collaborating with with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate parameters, policy adherence, and communicate in an understandable and accessible manner to those of varying technical skill levels.
  • Assist with the supervision of HRIS Internship participants and internal cross functional training programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
