Job Summary: The HRIS Analyst II is responsible for the daily support and maintenance of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst II also supports HR system upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned. At AAON, we are driven by a commitment to innovation and sustainability. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 3–5 years of experience with HRIS systems (Workday experience preferred)
  • Experience with HR processes such as onboarding, benefits, compensation, and performance management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data manipulation.
  • Working knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL, system integrations, or API connectivity.
  • HR or IT certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, HRIP, Workday Certification) is a plus.
  • Project management experience or formal training.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a systems administrator for HRIS systems, including user access, data entry oversight, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools; assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing needs.
  • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to develop, implement, and enhance HRIS processes.
  • Participate in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades, releases or patches and ensures all stakeholders are aware and trained on changes.
  • Work with HR Stakeholders and end users to analyze business needs and recommend solutions or process improvements.
  • Support training efforts on new system functionality and process changes.
  • Maintain system data integrity by running regular audits and validation reports.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and guidelines to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Research and resolve HRIS system issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Generate ad hoc, scheduled, and compliance reports (e.g., EEO, AAP, headcount, turnover, etc.).
