  • Strong understanding of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle within a Workday environment.

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources, IT, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision across all tasks.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborative team-player mindset and the ability to build relationships easily.
  • Outcome-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and an ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, with strong time management.
  • Highly self-directed and proactive, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive HR data with the highest level of discretion, ensuring privacy and data integrity at all times.

  • Partner with HR Functional Leads to optimize and support end-to-end system lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage daily Workday business process transactions, including corrections, cancels, rescinds, and addressing transactions issues as needed.
  • Handle 'to do' and 'review' steps within HR Core (e.g., ESS personal changes, work permit reviews, job change requests, role assignments, and supervisory organization creation).
  • Manage and process standardized Mass Changes using Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB), including intake, impact assessment, testing, and implementation (e.g., reorganizations, cost centre changes, location cleanups, branch realignments).
  • Support compensation and benefits cycles (merit, bonus, equity), ensuring accurate system configuration and data integrity.
  • Support security configuration and role-based access management within Workday.
  • Maintain data governance practices that ensure integrity, compliance, and consistency across Workday.
  • Perform audits to ensure data integrity and compliance; address data issues.
  • Deliver actionable workforce insights through reporting and analytics (scheduled & ad-hoc), supporting data-driven decision-making across HR and business leadership.
  • Provide support to business and troubleshoot Workday issues, correct errors, and resolve cases through to completion.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on Workday capabilities, guiding stakeholders toward best-practice system design and process optimization.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to HR and business stakeholders to drive adoption and self-sufficiency.
