About The Position

The HRIS Analyst, Human Resources Technology will provide daily end-user support within the Oracle HCM environment. This role involves the specification and configuration of Oracle HCM enhancements and the proactive identification of opportunities to leverage HCM functionality to better support business processes. Responsibilities include regression testing during quarterly releases, serving as support to Human Resources team members in resolving complex or unique situations to maintain data integrity within HCM, and providing tactical support in the deployment, testing, development, and ongoing maintenance of new software programs and implementations. The analyst will recommend, implement, and document internal processes and audit procedures to ensure data integrity. They will support the day-to-day operations in HCM, including position management, updating workforce structures, mass data loads (HSDL/HDL), and reports. Monitoring daily integrations to middleware and downstream payroll systems is also a key function. The role requires expertise in Reporting and Analytics with HCM, including troubleshooting issues in reporting solutions such as BI Publisher and OTBI. Maintaining dashboards and providing training for the Human Resources department is expected. The analyst will identify, evaluate, and resolve day-to-day support issues for Oracle HCM and integrated vendors, while maintaining operational effectiveness and prioritizing process and system improvement initiatives. Ensuring the integrity of internal database files, tables, and reports, executing and testing system configurations, and performing internal system acceptance testing are crucial. The role ensures the delivery of well-tested system enhancements to solve identified business needs. The analyst will apply working knowledge of application components in conjunction with query tools to solve identified business needs, and coordinate, analyze, and schedule system change requests. Identifying opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes and partnering with teams across Human Resources, Finance, and Legal on the implementation of solutions are also part of the role. The analyst will design and develop reports/presentations using a variety of applications and data sources, such as PowerPoint, MS Access/MS Excel, and analyze and format data to produce attractive, informative, and readable reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • Oracle HCM experience or equivalent systems background (Core HR, Talent, Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation).
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting, including using HRIS applications’ built-in reporting and analytic functionality.
  • Knowledge of database design and database management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Human Resources.
  • 2 years of experience required in the job offered or similar occupation.
