About The Position

Q2 is seeking a Workday HRIS Administrator who will be responsible for the administration and ongoing maintenance of the Total Rewards modules of our HRIS (Workday) systems, providing functional and technical support, updating the system to meet end-user needs, monitoring end-user usage, and perform daily administrative tasks.  The Workday HRIS Administrator is a superuser responsible for ensuring the integrity of the HCM system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in various Human Resource disciplines
  • 5+ years previous experience with Workday or another HRIS system
  • Knowledge of HCM design, structure, functions, and processes
  • Working knowledge and language of the following business areas: Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Compensation
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter that possesses a strong desire to seek optimal solutions and share the discovery with colleagues
  • Possesses strong operational and project management experience, driving exceptional results on a daily basis
  • Excellent customer service skills and enthusiasm for developing strong partnerships with internal users and leadership
  • This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Training or Certifications – Recruiting and HCM fundamentals preferred
  • Experience with management of SOX/internal compliance audits preferred
  • Experience working in HRIS/HR Operations teams in a global company, operating in multiple countries, supporting diverse employee populations from a system as well as training perspective preferred
  • Understanding of the entire employee lifecycle with ability to recommend technical solutions to improve the employee experience. Strong understanding of business process workflows, advanced reporting capabilities, and overall system compliance preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain assigned Workday applications; serve as a functional and technical expert
  • Responsible for day-to-day HCM operations, including security access, administration, and troubleshooting
  • Ensure data and system integrity
  • Provide training to end-users
  • Assist in the review, testing, validation, and implementation of new modules and functionality
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports and queries – both standard and custom
  • Research and resolve HCM problems, unexpected results, and process flaws
  • Troubleshoot Workday configuration and reporting issues to identify and fix root causes
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, training materials and documentation
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality service to end-users as well as HCM SOX control compliance
  • Facilitate strong business partnerships with internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring all relevant parties stay informed, are able to share feedback, and have a meaningful say in the work we do as a HR Technology team
  • Review, assess and recommend improvements to HRIS workflow and processes, user experience and innovative solutions
