St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) is a non-profit, regional, fully integrated, nationally recognized network providing services at 14 campuses and more than 300 sites in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Schuylkill, Bucks, Montgomery, Berks, Monroe and Luzerne counties in Pennsylvania and Warren and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey. The intent of this job description is to provide a summary of the major duties and responsibilities of this position and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position. The HR Technologies Intern will work on projects and tasks related to using LMS technologies to support operations and enhance St. Luke’s learning technologies. Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with Learning Management Team and Instruction Design teams for planning and identifying business requirements for optimizing Learning Management Systems and SharePoint sites.
  • Supports a department’s goals by providing assistance, ideas and solutions.
  • Works independently to complete tasks by assigned deadlines, following instructions given by manager for short-term and long-term projects.
  • Learns and utilizes technology, software/hardware, tools and/or internal processes to complete assignments and tasks.
  • Communicate frequently and effectively with various project collaborators and supervisor to ensure that goals and objectives are being fulfilled.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information.
  • Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrates/models the Network’s Service Excellence Standards of Performance in interactions with all customers (internal and external)
  • Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Clinical Care/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety.
  • Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes, and practices.
  • Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code.
