About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Assists HR team with clerical duties and responsibilities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with recruitment and screening process, maintaining and optimizing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); supporting hiring managers with job postings, candidate tracking and system troubleshooting; and assisting with the pre-employment screening and testing process, including running credit and background checks. Perform new hire employee orientations with focus on the overview of personnel policies, payroll, benefits and employment opportunities within the bank. Assists with variety of clerical duties and responsibilities. Assists with administration of benefit packages. Tracks and helps maintain record keeping. Assists with FMLA auditing, verification of employment inquiries, workers’ compensation claims, and tuition reimbursement requests. Performs other related duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance. Communicate effectively in-person and otherwise with all coworkers and customers, both during regular business hours and before and after regular business hours, if necessary. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of Human Resources practices and principles. Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Skill in good communications. Ability to be accurate. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to make sound decisions and function as a team player. Ability to work within strict time constraints and multi-task. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent banking experience. Previous experience with computer software. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
