About The Position

Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Specialist and the HR & Billing Generalist, the HR Intern will be responsible for a variety of summer projects, employee engagement, and will learn a variety of HR duties over the course of the internship.

Requirements

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Comfortable with solitary work

Responsibilities

  • File the existing employee documents into employee folders
  • Create employee and medical folders for new hires and terminated employees who do not have an existing employee folder
  • Scan existing employee folder documents and upload them into ADP, digitalizing all files moving forward
  • Help set up, serve, and deliver company barbeques throughout the summer
  • Interact with employees during employee engagement events
  • Answer lobby door phone calls to help direct visitors
  • Special HR projects and initiatives
  • Shadow HR team members to learn different HR functions
  • Miscellaneous administrative work
  • Help drive and support BCT’s Culture and Core Values
  • All other duties as assigned
