The HR Talent Partner (HR Generalist) serves as a trusted advisor to colleges and departments, this position delivers both consultative and transactional HR support across the full employee lifecycle—helping to recruit, develop, engage, and retain a diverse and high-performing workforce. Through close partnership with leaders, the HR Talent Partner supports key institutional priorities by fostering an inclusive, people-centered culture that empowers employees to thrive, strengthens organizational effectiveness, and advances the university’s vision of being a catalyst for innovation and regional growth. In this dynamic role, the HR Talent Partner coordinates day-to-day HR functions including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, FMLA administration, learning and development, and employee engagement, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The position also provides guidance, resolves workplace concerns, facilitates training, contributes to policy development, and represents Human Resources across the institution—while also leading programs aligned with individual expertise.
