Essential Functions This HR Specialist position is responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of the following key areas: 1. New Employee Onboarding & Orientation Design and deliver a comprehensive monthly New Employee Orientation program that ensures all new hires have a smooth, consistent, and engaging start to their employment, including post orientation follow ups. Serve as a primary point of contact for new employees during their initial orientation period. Continuously review and update orientation content to reflect current company policies, culture, and strategic goals. 2. Employee Training & Development Enhance and expand employee training offerings, including developing, sourcing, and scheduling a variety of programs (e.g., professional skills, policy compliance, leadership). Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify critical training needs and develop relevant content. 3. Training Recordkeeping & Compliance Establish and maintain a robust and compliant employee training recordkeeping system. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all completed employee training, certifications, and professional development. 4. UKG HRIS Utilization and Training Serve as a primary administrator and expert user of the UKG Ready (Ultimate Kronos Group) platform. Develop and deliver comprehensive UKG training for all staff and managers to maximize the system's efficiency and user adoption (e.g., self-service functions, performance management modules, reporting). Assist with data integrity, system maintenance, and leveraging the system's features to improve HR processes. 5. HR Cross Training Establish a strong understanding of all HR functions, including benefits administration, payroll, policies, and invoice management. Contribute to team effort by performing related duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources desired but not required
  • Two or more years of progressive experience in Human Resources, specifically focused on Training/Learning & Development, Onboarding, and/or HRIS administration strongly preferred.
  • Proven, hands-on experience as an administrator or power user of UKG Ready is highly preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, comfortable leading group training sessions.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in recordkeeping.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
