About The Position

The Human Resources Specialist supports daily HR operations by administering HR programs, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR support or specialist role
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., iSolved, ADP, Paycom, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and audit employee records to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes (new hire paperwork, orientation, system access, terminations)
  • Administer HR systems (HRIS, timekeeping, benefits platforms) and resolve data discrepancies
  • Assist with benefits administration, enrollment changes, and employee questions
  • Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate employee data and timely updates
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies
  • Prepare HR reports, audits, and documentation as required
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
  • Support performance management, training, and employee relations initiatives
  • Coordinate with management and other departments to support workforce needs
