About The Position

The Senior HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices. This position requires a proactive approach to guiding leaders and employees, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience gained through increasingly responsible HR positions, including recruitment and talent acquisition responsibilities.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes required.
  • HR strategy and planning experience required.
  • Previous experience with an HRIS required, preferably ADP Workforce Now
  • Must be proficient in English
  • Basic knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment (i.e., discrimination and harassment, wage and hours, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge in LOA, FMLA, Workers Compensation administration, and HRIS

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Franchise industry or Food and Beverage industry experience highly preferred.
  • Korean or Spanish language proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruiting plans.
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, job boards, and community partnerships.
  • Develop and implement recruiting initiatives to attract high-quality talent in a competitive labor market.
  • Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives across the organization.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Oversee payroll taxes and processing, conduct wage and hour audits, and assist in compensation management and labor cost reporting.
  • Develop, implement, and assess HR policies and programs to align with organizational goals and enhance employee relations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to address HR issues and promote company values and HR programs.
  • Supervise payroll processing, timekeeping compliance, wage and hour audits, and compensation programs.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Administer company benefits, including ACA compliance, COBRA, and address any benefit-related inquiries.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and leaders regarding company policies, employee safety, and training.
  • Promote positive employee relations, safety, organizational culture, and effective communication.
  • Maintain and update the HRIS (G-HR) system.
  • Support the performance review process and ensure timely completion.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, supplementary insurance, and 401(k) plans.
  • Implement regular employee communications regarding benefits and assist with annual health insurance renewals and open enrollment.
