About The Position

Prescient Edge is seeking an HR/ Security Analyst Intern to support the following tasks: Assist with onboarding and offboarding of Prescient Edge team members. Answer questions from employees about various topics, such as benefits and payroll. Research various topics and support ongoing strategic HR initiatives. Scan, organize, and maintain personnel files. Support the recruiting team by formatting resumes for submission to Government clients, posting job requisitions on our company website, and sourcing candidates for open positions. Assist the FSO with the overall security program. Process new employee security clearances. Track security clearance investigations and perform administrative support functions, including Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) administration. Provide security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for site personnel. Process outgoing visit requests and certifications. Review required forms, processes, and security forms (SF85 and SF86). Oversee the company's completion and retention of personnel security clearance records. Oversee and assist FSO with self-inspection and review of security processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws. Manage, prepare, and track all Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD Form 254s) provided from the government/prime contractor as well as those necessary for distribution to subcontractors. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in human resources management, business, or a related area of study at a university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic, including the ability to act with discretion and treat all sensitive information as confidential.
  • A sharp attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to analyze data and synthesize research into a polished, completed product.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
