Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous HR experience in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or fast-paced operational environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and confidentiality standards.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner for employees and leaders within the manufacturing and logistics operations center.
  • Create and maintain accurate employee records and ensure all HR documentation is completed and organized.
  • Support and administer HR policies, programs, and procedures while ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee data management.
  • Support onboarding and orientation activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, policies, procedures, and general HR-related matters.
  • Post job openings, review applications, and conduct initial candidate phone screenings.
  • Maintain and generate HR reports and workforce data as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Safety team to support reporting, compliance, and employee safety initiatives.
  • Help drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and proactively recommend solutions that support the business and employee experience.
