About The Position

We are hiring an approachable, organized HR Representative to be the in-office face of HR. You will work alongside our external HR provider to explain benefits, manage promotions and paperwork, and listen to employee concerns. Your presence will strengthen trust, improve morale, and make HR accessible day-to-day.

Nice To Haves

• PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with benefits plans (medical, dental, vision, retirement), leave administration, and common employment law basics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite contact for employee questions, concerns, and informal conflict resolution; escalate complex issues to the external HR partner or leadership as needed.
• Explain benefit plans, guide employees through enrollment and life-event changes, coordinate with outside benefits vendors, and run regular benefits orientations and Q&A sessions.
• Draft promotion letters, update job descriptions, coordinate compensation changes with payroll and leadership, and ensure documentation is complete and timely.
• Receive and document employee concerns, conduct initial fact-finding, maintain confidential records, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved or properly escalated.
• Assist with new hire orientation, benefits setup, and exit interviews; ensure a consistent, welcoming experience for employees.
• Help communicate company policies, support compliance with basic employment regulations, and coordinate with the external HR system for legal or complex compliance matters.
• Partner with managers to identify morale issues, suggest improvements, and help run recognition, wellness, or development activities that boost workplace culture.
