About The Position

Two Kings Casino is seeking a self-sufficient Recruiter to manage the full-cycle talent acquisition for our frontline and professional operations. Reporting to the Senior Recruiter, this role is designed for a recruiter who can 'run their own desk' —prioritizing high-volume hiring needs while simultaneously building long-term talent pipelines. You will serve as the primary liaison for department heads and a vital guide for candidates navigating the gaming licensure process, ensuring a seamless, white-glove experience from the first call to the final offer.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of active, full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and techniques.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to negotiate with department heads and influence hiring decisions based on budget and candidate fit.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to manage a high-volume requisition load independently. This includes managing one’s own calendar, scheduling complex interview panels, and maintaining ATS hygiene without daily prompts.
  • Expertly balance competing priorities with the ability to pivot focus instantly between urgent "immediate-need" roles and long-term pipeline building.
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of candidates and leadership in a fast-paced, loud, and at times stressful casino environment.
  • Familiarity with social media recruiting and job boards.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Catawba Two Kings Casino Gaming license.
  • Regularly required to reach with hands and arms; talk, hear, and see.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb or balance.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds (e.g., event signage and recruitment materials).
  • Exposure to high volume noise and flashing lights.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a high-volume hospitality or casino environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a diverse range of positions, including Gaming, Cage, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, IT, and Administrative roles.
  • Proactively identify and attract top talent through advanced sourcing techniques, including social media campaigns, professional networking, industry-specific job boards, and community outreach.
  • Assist in coordinating and executing large-scale recruitment events, job fairs, and open-house interviews to meet aggressive departmental staffing goals.
  • Assist management in conducting comprehensive behavioral-based interviews and phone screenings to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and service-oriented mindsets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all applicants, providing timely feedback, managing expectations, and ensuring a professional, "white-glove" experience regardless of the hiring outcome.
  • Manage the job offer process, including preparing offer letters, negotiating compensation packages within budget constraints with department heads, and coordinating start dates.
  • Build trust-based relationships with department heads, acting as a consultant on market trends and candidate availability.
  • Serve as a daily consultant to department heads to provide updates on candidate pipelines and assist in refining selection criteria for specialized casino roles.
  • Assist the Senior Recruiter with data collection for talent risk analysis and contribute to the maintenance of job descriptions and interview guides.
  • Serve as a guide for candidates navigating the Catawba Gaming License process.
  • Explain regulatory requirements clearly to reduce candidate "drop-off" and ensure all initial compliance documentation is completed accurately before onboarding.
  • Ensure all recruiting activities adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Facilitate the initial documentation required for candidates to obtain a Catawba Gaming License.
  • Assist in maintaining the inventory and budget for recruitment "swag" and branded materials for community events.
