About The Position

Spee Dee Delivery is a family-owned and operated company established in 1978, specializing in standard, next-day, ground delivery. With corporate headquarters in St. Cloud, MN, the company employs over 1,800 individuals and has expanded throughout the Midwest. The Recruiter will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the company.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of experience in human resources management preferred
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Familiar with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

Responsibilities

Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process
Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
Identify and implement efficient recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
Assist with job posting and advertisement processes
Screen applicants and select qualified candidates
Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
Attend and conduct interviews with department managers
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Attend and participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions
Perform other required duties as assigned
