About The Position

The HR Processor is responsible for providing accurate and timely support by processing employees for roles that require job‑specific onboarding activities, including safety council scheduling, drug screenings, background checks, fit testing, and other requirements necessary for customer site access. This role maintains confidential employee records throughout the onboarding process and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations. At times, the HR Processor will provide recruitment support, including sourcing skilled craft employees for open positions. The role works closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience. Additionally, the HR Processor assists in researching, developing, and implementing recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent, supporting efficient, compliant, and effective HR operations. This role is on-site at the Deer Park, TX HR office and is in office, not remote.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of related work experience preferably in an industry setting.
  • High level of proficiency with DISA.
  • Familiarity with Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to be flexible, navigate change and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to learn and improve.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers.
  • Effective time-management skills, multitasking and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate candidate qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Manages candidate pre-hire through hire onboarding process ensuring hiring activities are completed with urgency, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Facilitate candidate skills testing for appropriate positions.
  • Schedule employees for drug screen, background, fit test, physicals and safety council classes; communicate that to them.
  • Support other recruiters as needed with on-boarding tasks.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure hiring needs and scheduling are being met.
  • Responsive to incoming calls from applicants and employees, answering questions and providing guidance to ensure a positive recruiting and onboarding experience.
  • Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries and requests.
  • Ensure that HR activities are completed in accordance with HR Work Processes.
  • Thrives in a very fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while maintaining consistency of service.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest solutions.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through various channels.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Provide effective communication with employees and a timely resolution to their inquiries related to their on-boarding process.
  • Willing and capable of working overtime as required; after hours/weekends.
