About The Position

STARPLUS ENERGY LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an HR Planning and Systems Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving workforce planning, enhancing HR systems, and ensuring seamless payroll processing for our dispatched employees. The HR Planning and Systems Analyst will collaborate across departments to align workforce strategies with organizational goals, oversee HRIS upgrades and integrations, and manage KPI tracking and reporting. Reporting directly to the HR Director, this position also supports cross-departmental projects, data compliance, and improvement initiatives, contributing to the continued success and positive culture at STARPLUS ENERGY LLC.

Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 18 years old
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
  • Korean language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) required to support communication and collaboration with Korea Headquarters
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
  • Strong project management skills, including experience in HRIS system implementations, integrations, or upgrades
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of experience in workforce planning, HR systems, or HR analytics, with demonstrated contributions to organizational goals.
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Expertise in HRIS platforms and data analytics tools
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, CPP (Certified Payroll Professional), or PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Familiarity with workforce planning models, forecasting tools, and data visualization platforms

Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leadership and department heads to develop and execute workforce plans aligned with long-term business objectives
  • Conduct detailed analysis of labor data to identify staffing needs and recommend strategies for optimization
  • Lead system upgrades, implementations, and integrations to enhance HRIS and necessary tracking functionality, ensuring systems are user-friendly, efficient, and support both HR operations and organizational growth
  • Regularly audit and review HR system (HRIS) data to ensure information is accurate, complete, and up to date; identify discrepancies and implement corrective and process-improvement actions.
  • Administer the company's Enterprise Portal accounts, including provisioning, access rights, modifications, and deactivations. Update portal access in a timely manner to reflect employee onboarding, transfers, and separations.
  • Enter and validate payroll information for dispatched employees, including salaries, allowances, benefits, and tax deductions
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with international tax implications and company policies
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to provide actionable insights on productivity, labor costs, and employee turnover
  • Create reports and dashboards to present key metrics and support strategic decision-making
  • Serve as a key communication liaison with Korea Headquarters, ensuring timely and effective coordination; prepare and deliver reports and materials in Korean as needed.
  • Oversee KPI management by developing, tracking, and reporting on key performance metrics at both departmental and organizational levels; work with leadership to align KPIs with business priorities and drive performance improvements
  • Manage cross-departmental projects and HR initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives
  • Coordinate resources, monitor progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Maintain data governance, accuracy, and compliance with labor laws and audit standards
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and implement automated solutions where possible
