About The Position

The HR/Payroll Coordinator supports weekly payroll processing and day-to-day HR administrative workflows using PayCom. This position is HRIS-driven: payroll calculations and new-hire setup are automated, and the primary focus is accurate data entry, monitoring PayCom workflows, and maintaining complete and confidential employee records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • 0-2 years of administrative, HR, payroll, or data-entry experience preferred; PayCom experience a plus.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy; able to manage high-volume data entry with minimal errors.
  • Comfortable working in a process-driven environment with strict weekly deadlines.
  • Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to learn HRIS workflows quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • PayCom training/experience preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

  • Enter and verify weekly payroll inputs in PayCom, including time data and applicable earnings, to support on-time processing.
  • Review and track HR transactions through PayCom Personnel Action Forms (PAFs); ensure forms are complete, properly routed for approval, and accurately reflected in the system.
  • Maintain employee data integrity in PayCom (job/position, pay rates, status, department/location, direct deposit and other assigned fields).
  • Support new-hire onboarding in PayCom by monitoring completion, assisting with system-related questions, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Create and maintain job postings in PayCom; assist with basic applicant workflow steps and posting updates.
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding payroll timing, HRIS navigation, and standard forms; escalate complex issues to HR/Payroll leadership.
  • Generate routine PayCom reports and documentation as assigned; support record retention and audit-ready file organization when requested.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and comply with company policies and applicable laws.
