About The Position

Cypress Cove Care Center is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR/Payroll/Accounts Payable Coordinator to support daily business office and human resources operations a t our skilled nursing facility. This position requires a professional comfortable managing payroll processes, employee onboarding, benefits coordination, and accounts payable in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Accuracy, confidentiality, and strong follow-through are essential. The HR / Payroll / Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for overseeing employee onboarding and personnel records, processing payroll accurately and timely, managing vendor invoices and accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies. This role works closely with department heads, corporate support teams, and facility leadership to maintain smooth operational and financial workflows.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in HR, payroll, and accounts payable (healthcare or skilled nursing preferred)
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing and employment documentation requirements
  • Knowledge of Florida wage and labor regulations preferred
  • Experience with electronic payroll systems and accounting software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Professional communication skills and high level of confidentiality

  • Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS platforms

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and in compliance with wage and hour laws
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation
  • Coordinate onboarding, background checks, and new hire paperwork
  • Track PTO, benefits enrollment, and employee status changes
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations
  • Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable functions
  • Reconcile invoices, statements, and expense reports
  • Maintain organized financial and HR records
  • Assist with unemployment claims, workers’ compensation documentation, and employment verifications
  • Support audit preparation and reporting requirements
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and resident information
