Position Summary Working under general supervision, the HR Operational Specialist I performs data entry, tracks required information, and supports reporting and training logistics. The role contributes to the efficient operation of talent development processes by ensuring accurate records, timely updates, and responsive customer service. The HR Operations Specialist I (Pre-Boarding Specialist) provides operational support for the district’s recruitment and onboarding processes by coordinating pre-employment activities for licensed, classified, and temporary employees across multiple schools and departments. This role manages offer processing, verifies employment requirements, and ensures completion of pre-employment documentation in accordance with district procedures, licensing requirements, and applicable regulations. This position serves as a point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and Talent Management staff throughout the pre-boarding process, providing guidance, resolving routine issues, and escalating complex matters as appropriate. The position collaborates with internal departments to support timely hiring, assists with recruitment activities and job postings, and contributes to onboarding communications and materials. Through accurate processing, responsive customer service, and coordination of pre-employment tasks, this role supports efficient hiring operations and a positive onboarding experience for new employees.
