About The Position

DMR Drones is a fast-growing drone manufacturing and technology company based in Lafayette, LA. We design, assemble, and ship advanced agricultural and commercial drones right here in Louisiana. As we scale rapidly, we’re hiring an HR & Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day systems that keep a manufacturing startup running: onboarding, scheduling, inventory tracking, administrative coordination, and executive support. This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys being the person who keeps everything moving smoothly.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and follow-through
  • Proficiency in Excel (tracking lists, organization, accuracy)
  • Comfortable balancing HR admin, operations coordination, and scheduling tasks
  • Professional communication and a positive, team-first attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HR support, admin coordination, manufacturing, or inventory is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a hands-on, growing startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Support new hire onboarding (paperwork, orientation scheduling, employee checklists)
  • Assist with basic HR administration and internal employee documentation
  • Help coordinate background checks, training records, and timekeeping processes
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, orientations, and vendor visits
  • Provide administrative support to leadership (calendar coordination, follow-ups, organization)
  • Help ensure priorities stay on track in a fast-paced environment
  • Track parts, tools, and supplies using Excel spreadsheets
  • Assist with inventory control, labeling, receiving, and internal organization
  • Support facility operations with accurate documentation and process tracking
  • Handle light inbound communication and route requests appropriately
  • Support internal coordination across operations, recruiting, and leadership
