About The Position

The HR Operations Coordinator is responsible for executing core HR operational processes that support the employee lifecycle. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of HR transactions, maintains employee data integrity, and delivers responsive HR service support. Working under established guidelines and procedures, this position plays a critical role in supporting HR systems, workflows, and compliance while contributing to a positive employee experience.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Basic knowledge of data analytics, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and use common analytical tools or software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required, including Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Outstanding time management skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate multiple assignments.
  • Exemplary in teamwork, customer and interpersonal satisfaction skills, including dealing effectively with the public, in-person, via email, and over the phone.
  • Ability to work quickly and proficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in Human Resources roles,
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (UKG preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • aPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Experience in HR analytics and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Process employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, job changes, and terminations, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Administer offer processes and onboarding workflows to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  • Coordinate and process background checks and drug screenings through third-party vendors.
  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation logistics.
  • Prepare and process termination documentation and offboarding activities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee records in compliance with company policies.
  • Enter, update, and maintain employee data within UKG and related systems.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Support HR workflows (e.g., People Assist) to ensure timely processing of requests.
  • Compile and generate recurring and ad hoc HR reports using established templates.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies.
  • Assist with security clearance processing and upgrades in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information
  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
