About The Position

Piper Companies is seeking a HR & Office Manager to support a company focused on aerospace security systems located in McLean, VA. This is a direct-hire opportunity supporting a growing security organization focused on cutting-edge aerospace security.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in HR, recruitment, office management, or people operations (startup experience is a big plus!).
  • Solid knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and benefits administration.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day execution.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful-ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for building strong workplace culture.
  • Comfortable multitasking and adapting quickly in a dynamic setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle-from hiring and onboarding to benefits, performance reviews, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Create fun and meaningful employee engagement programs to build a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Be the go-to person for HR policies, benefits, and compliance, ensuring everything runs smoothly and legally.
  • Coordinate with the global HR team and provide valuable HR insights to leadership.
