Job Summary Position responsible for performing complex and diversified administrative duties for a department. Memorial Hermann Memorial City 920 Gessner Rd, Houston, TX 77024 Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM The primary responsibilities encompass performing triage duties, managing incoming emails, assigning tasks within Dovetail, generating reports, creating templates, handling fax transmissions, managing cases via case management systems, transcribing voicemail messages, periodically visiting the office to retrieve mail, coordinating office supplies, compiling survey data, preparing monthly invoices, providing support for various projects, and triaging unemployment-related cases. We are seeking a technically proficient individual eager to advance within HR. This professional must be able to effectively collaborate with all levels, from individual contributors to executives, and work seamlessly with internal departments. The successful candidate should possess strong multitasking abilities and be proficient in utilizing office equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Five (5) years of clerical experience, with at least three (3) years directly related to the assignment.
  • Some supervisory skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and produces reports, letters, memoranda, minutes and other departmental correspondence.
  • Maintains and updates departmental files.
  • Ensures the timeliness and proper distribution of reports and other communications for area of responsibility.
  • Orients and trains employees regarding system and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Identifies and responds to problems with appropriate action and follow-up.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experience staff.
  • Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences.
  • Models Memorial Hermann’s service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
