We're looking for a highly organized and customer-service-oriented HR/Office Clerk to join our Byron, Georgia team. This position plays an important role in supporting employees, candidates, visitors, and site leadership by providing administrative support across Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, and Office Operations. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the full recruiting cycle, including posting jobs, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and conducting reference checks.
Prepare and present offer letters to selected candidates.
Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
Assist with background checks and employment documentation.
Maintain employee records and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
Enter and maintain employee information in HR systems.
Answer routine employee questions regarding company policies, programs, and procedures.
Support employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and company events.
Maintain labor law postings and compliance records.
Review employee time and attendance records to support payroll processing.
Ensure timecards are approved and ready for payroll submission.
Respond to routine payroll questions and assist employees with payroll-related concerns.
Serve as the first point of contact for employees, applicants, visitors, and vendors.
Answer and route phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
Create, issue, update, and replace employee identification badges.
Maintain badge records and support facility access management processes.
Create purchase orders and coordinate approval workflows.
Track purchase orders, assist with invoice reconciliation, and communicate with vendors.
Order and maintain office supplies and materials.
Coordinate meetings, conference room scheduling, and travel arrangements.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business documents.
Support site communications and special administrative projects.
Protect confidential employee, payroll, and company information.
Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, managers, candidates, and visitors.
Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
