About The Position

The HR Manager will develop policy and direct and coordinate human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, and training. Located near Greenville, North Carolina, CMP Pharma, Inc. is a private equity owned, fully integrated specialty pharmaceutical company that seeks to meaningfully improve the lives of underserved patient populations through the development and commercialization of alternative formulations of pharmaceutical products that address unique accessibility challenges. Our products include branded and generic prescription products which we distribute to hospitals, clinics long-term care facilities, and retail channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR / Business or a related field of study
  • 7+ years of related experience, preferably within a small to mid-size organization
  • 3+ year experience processing payroll and knowledge of different state payroll laws
  • Experience with ADP preferred
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Processes payroll for the entire organization (ADP Workforce Now)
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applications.
  • Works with third party benefit consultants and HR Director to select benefit offerings for the organization and keeps records of benefit plans.
  • Administers benefit programs such as medical, health, life, 401(k), vacation/PTO, FMLA, etc.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedure that focus on employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits. Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
  • Develops and maintains a human resources systems that meets top management information requirements.
  • Writes and delivers presentations to officers regarding human resources policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and harassment.
  • Advises executives in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Investigates complaints of harassment, discrimination, bullying, compliance, safety, and ethics.
  • Prepares employee corrective actions and related documents.
  • Prepares reporting for all federal and required partners (EEO-1; Vets; OSHA; Worker’s Comp Audits, etc.).
  • Represents the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
  • Manages and updates employee handbook.
  • A member of the social committee and helps organize events for employees.
  • A member of the internal organizational compensation committee.
