The HR Learning & Development Intern will collaborate with stakeholders to define competencies and training needs, identify and evaluate content providers, structure training programs, design communications, and implement content in the learning management system (LMS). The role also includes other assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled at the time internship commences and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college; Human Resources or Learning and Development related field preferred.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • General knowledge of human resources and an understanding of related policies.
  • General knowledge of learning and development principles and best practices.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and respectful of highly confidential information.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels including leadership/executive teams.
  • Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e. Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Experience in graphic design or related visual communication disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to define competencies and determine functional training requirements.
  • Identifying training content providers and evaluating product offerings.
  • Structuring training content programs to support employee development.
  • Designing and delivering stakeholder communications related to competence and training program implementation.
  • Implementing program content in the learning management system (LMS).
  • Other projects as assigned.
