About The Position

OVERVIEW At Alo, the HR Intern is a student or recent graduate responsible for supporting the Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative and operational initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to core HR functions including onboarding and HR operations. The intern will collaborate closely with the HR team while gaining practical experience in a fast-paced, people-focused corporate environment. The 8-week Alo internship program starts June 8th and ends July 31st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills HQ.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related degree program
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or People Operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Comfort working with data and HR systems

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or campus leadership experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding coordination including new hire paperwork, orientation preparation, and employee file management
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee records in HR systems and shared drives
  • Assist with HR reporting and data entry related to headcount, turnover, and other people metrics
  • Help prepare HR documents such as offer letters, employment verification letters, and policy acknowledgments
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and support ongoing HR projects and process improvements
